Application Forms and Deadlines
The Foundation supports specific programs and require budgetary detail. In order to be considered at the upcoming funding meeting, six hard copies of the following Funding Application plus six hard copies of the attachments must be returned to the following address no later than May 10, 2010.:

Eligibility
Periodically the Foundation invites organizations to submit applications for grants to support programs which provide Westchester County youth with:

  • extracurricular opportunities for teenagers;
  • strengthened connections between teenagers and other segments of the community;
  • athletic, musical, cultural and other artistic projects and outlets;
  • greater awareness of safety and safety measures (such as helmets for bike riders);
  • psycho-social empathy with those who have developmental disabilities, as well
    as disadvantaged socioeconomic persons within the community;
  • and a sense of responsibility toward various populations within the County.

The key criteria in awarding grants include the following:

  • the project or program must benefit teenagers (ages 12-19) who reside in Westchester County; and
  • preference is given to projects and programs that might not otherwise be funded, and
  • activities benefiting those who reside in low socioeconomic areas that are in need.

Requirements
Please note that applicants must be IRC 501 (c)(3) organizations.
